Well, it sure does seem like we're nearing the end of the road. The local stores have the Christmas lights on clearance (what they have left) and the remaining days until 2010 can be counted in the single digits now. The last display show will take place the evening of Friday, January 1st from 6-11pm. It seems this Christmas season has just flown by and it saddens me to thing about the house without all the lights, but I know all good things come to an end. I am glad to see so many houses around us put up lights and it certainly LOOKS like there are more and more people getting into the spirit these days. I hope anyone that has seen our display has been inspired to put up just a few lights, or decorate the entire house like we have, so I hope in some way our efforts have made the season a little brighter for someone.
It's been fun learning, overcoming challenges, and we're really enjoyed the positive comments and meeting new people from Planet Christmas. I'm still working on posting some video of this years show, so look for that soon.. it's taken me much longer then expected to get the videos posted, then Christmas was upon us so I'm just now getting around to wrapping that up.
If anyone is interested... looks like we're really going to make the big push for LED's next year, so if anyone out there in Christmas land wants to buy a rather large quantity of red and white C7 lights with tons of extra bulbs, just give me a yell and we can talk.
