Was feeling slightly off my game this morning, so I called off work and relaxed at home. This afternoon I was feeling better so I felt like cooking and invited our friend Eric over for a true French dinner. We saw the movie "Julie and Julia" together and promised if I cooked this dish I'd have him over.
Again I channeled my inner Julia Child and made Boeuf Bourguignon, which turned out really fabulous!!
It's not your every day meal, but glad I went the extra mile.
